Seether

Hailing from South Africa, Saron Gas changed their name to Seether when they were signed by Wind Up Entertainment. Originally a trio, band members have come and gone and now Seether is a 4 piece with a sound that encompasses nu-metal and melodic rock in the same way as Staind and Nickelback.

Seether's 2002 debut album, Disclaimer, was re-released in 2004 with extra songs and a DVD containing the band's videos and a live show. Disclaimer II, as it is known, contains the version of "Broken" that features Amy Lee of Evanescence, and the DVD also has a short documentary of the making of the video.

Seether will be releasing a new album, Karma and Effect, in late May.
